After leaving Rebecca’s at The lodge due to terrible, inexcusable service; my husband and I wanted to eat somewhere new. We stopped in to The Dusty Boots cafe. And wow what a difference. Mandy our server was absolutely phenomenal. And the food was great too. I hope I can make it up to Cloudcroft on a Friday to try their German night at the cafe.
Hubby and I stopped in earlier tonight to satisfy my pregnancy-related ice cream cravings. I didn’t catch the guy’s name who helped us, but he was so nice and helpful! He told us a lot about the building and Flickinger’s, and also about upcoming events. This was nice, as we are fairly new to the area. I know there are a couple of places around town that specialize in all sorts of ice cream desserts, but it was so nice to find a place to get locally made, hand-scooped ice cream! It was so good! Plus, all of their toppings are free.
Patron’s Hall has a really great atmosphere – we will definitely be back, especially to try their coffee!
